NCA SOPHE’s webinar titled, “Mental Health Compass For The Pandemic and Beyond”
Join us for Dr. Ijeoma Ijeaku’s presentation about developing a mental health compass and ways for coping with stressors.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- List 3 normal and 3 abnormal reactions to stressful events
- Identify various ways to cope with stressors.
- Learn about and discuss elements of SOPHE’s Mental Health and Mindfulness Toolkit and identify 1-2 elements of the Toolkit they can incorporate into their daily routine.

About Dr. Ijeaku:
Dr. Ijeaku is the current President of the Southern California Psychiatric Society, the local district branch of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), and is on the board of directors of the Mount San Jacinto branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She is the President of the Whole Person Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization supporting access to health care, education, research, and provision of resources to youth and vulnerable.
