Leading educators and health professionals document the interdependent relationship between health and learning. To understand the quantity and quality of school health education in the U.S. SOPHE and the American School Health Association (ASHA) National Committee on the Future of School Health Education identified a collection of challenges and related recommendations for change.
Aligning the forces of public health and school health educators, the collection was published in four articles in the November 2019 Special Issue of the SOPHE journal, Health Promotion Practice.
