Students

SOPHE welcomes all students into its membership to fully participate in events and activities, serve as leaders and volunteers on committees and apply for scholarships, fellowships and awards.

Scholarships

Students can apply to attend SOPHE’s Annual Conference or SOPHE’s Advocacy Summit.

Leadership

Students can enhance their leadership skills through several SOPHE courses including UPLIFTS, the Leadership in Equity & Diversity Fellowship, or Advocacy in Action.

Certification

The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) promotes and sustains a credentialed body of Health Education Specialists. NCHEC administers the CHES®/MCHES® exam. SOPHE has exam preparation materials.

Collegiate Champions

Collegiate Champions serve as liaisons between the National SOPHE Office and their respective college and university campus. They lead activities on campus including National Health Education Week.
